  • Created and maintained transportation invoicing process for approximately $2M weekly
  • Reduced over payment term payments to carriers by 30% for an average of $500K annually
  • Reporting from General Ledger to track and maintain timely payments of invoices and invoice status for the locations
  • Reorganized, automated and streamlined perishable program resulting in $4M reduction in waste for logistics operations
  • Created and maintained the process called 2099 used by Kmart Distribution Centers to identify and update perishable product received on a daily basis.
  • Negotiated pallet retrieval program with Northwest Pallet for 1,200+ stores resulting in $1M cost reduction.  Reduced waste of 3rd-party pallet rental program valued at $21.6M, completing extended contract negotiation.  Eliminated expense from $1.2M loss to $0 by creating reporting and tracking
  • Implemented tracking and bid process for corrugate supplies International Paper, Georgia Pacific and Pratt Industries for over $10M in supplies
  • Established reporting utilizing connections to all WMS systems resulting in labor reduction and savings of $400K annually
  • Worked with Pratt Industries to design a corrugate battery box to DOT and Safety regulations to ship car, marine and sport batteries, replacing plastic totes resulting in annual savings of $1.3M
  • Project Manager facilitating 15 groups moving supply shipments from 3rd party to in house distribution processing within specified time line resulting in $1.5M annual savings
  • Enhanced and created new processes for the Kmart 605 Return to Vendor process. Streamlined data entry, created Access database processing to publish reporting direction to the Kmart Distribution Centers.  Created Access database to make monitoring of the process easier for the business units.
